| | | 9. | Ironing
- divide hair into 5-6 main sections (depending on volume of hair)
- from any of the main sections, pick a strand of hair within the region of 1cm thick.
This is the ideal size for an ironing section. Diagram 11
The following 5 steps sequence should be used on each ironing section until all hair is ironed.
1st ironing
place the root of hair in between the two plates of the Ionic Iron. Gently smooth hair from the root to the end using moderate pressure to slide the Iron down along the hair. Diagram 12
2nd & 3rd ironing
slowly smooth hair from the root to the end using firm pressure to slide the Iron down along the hair. Diagram 13
4th ironing
smooth hair from the root, by alternately applying and releasing pressure on the iron along the length of the hair, the last 3cm of hair should be smoothed by sliding the iron firmly to the ends. Diagram 14
5th ironing
slowly smooth hair from the root to the end using firm pressure to slide the Iron down along the hair. Diagram 15
